Question: My feet burn especially the big toes. Last year, I injured my toes from tight shoes and both big toenails discolored and came off. New nails grew back and look fine. However, now I have lots of burning. It has been over 6 months since original injury. Burning comes and goes.

Brief Answer:
could be spinal canal stenosis

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

You have passed tests for neuropathy.
Burning in toes and feet is generally caused by nerve pressure- at the level of spinal cord ( Spinal Canal Stenosis or slipped disc)and the tests for neuropathy would be normal. Positive findings could be seen only in MRI.
Other possibility is gout.
I suggest you start a combination of pregabalin and methycobalamine and Get your MRI test done. Pl also get Serum Uric Acid to rule out gout.

Thanks for the question. Please feel free to ask any other question.
