Question: I am having a burning sensation when i am taking bowel and also i am having irritation during bowel and post that and it fades away after a while. as per my doctors advice i went for colonscopy and endoscopy few months before all were clean, no trace of any ulcer.

However, i have small inflammation near anus very small in size which is making me uncomfortable while sitting, no bleeding just little bit of a itch there and burning sensation while taking bowel.

Kindly advice,
doctor

Brief Answer:
The burning sensation is probably due to anal fissure.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome to Health care Magic. Thank you for posting your query. I have gone through your post in details . I can understand your concern.

Your doctor had rightly asked you to undergo an upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy to rule out ulcers .

It would have been great had I seen it on my own . However from your description it seems like an anal fissure. Let me help you out.
Follow these steps for th time being -
1. Toilet training - Go to the toilet as and when required to pass stool. Do not spend more than 5-10 minutes
2. Take syrup Lactulose to keep your stool soft.
3. Avoid straining while passing stool.
4. Apply Lignocaine jelly over the area to reduce pain sensation

I would suggest you to follow these steps and visit a doctor. He/she can examine you and correlate clinically.

Hope this helps.

Have a nice day.

Brief Answer:
No need to worry much.

Detailed Answer:
Haemorrhoids or piles are swollen and inflamed veins in the rectum or anus. Yes it can worsen but with proper care and treatment , it can be kept in control.

Your colonoscopy report is just fine. There is nothing to worry.

Coming to the diet.
Take a high fibre diet.
Avoid red meat.

Try to keep your stool soft. If required take Syrup Lactulose.
Do as I have said about
1. Toilet training
2. Avoid straining while passing stool.

Continue the medication as advised by your doctor.

Hope this helps.
