Question : I have been diagnosed by an orthopedic surgeon as having bursitis and sciatica, I like to walk and exercise I have been told that will not hurt it but it does!!I have a lot of other skeletal problems..like scoliosis arthritis in the vertebra and sometimes..pain scares me! I am 78 years old in good health otherwise and I do not want to gain any weight...by "taking it easy"!
Brief Answer:
Start with pain killers first.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
Bursitis and arthritis both cause pain with movement. Exercise can cause pain and it is best to start taking proper treatment for this under the guidance of your orthopedician. Once the acute pain subsides then you can start with exercise.
I hope this answers your query.
