Question : when I walk I feel i am very slightly leaning on lateral and post. parts of both feet. Since i am 77 years old, i think i may be getting inversion of feet or ankles. Is this a condition of aging? I have also noticed that my toes are sl.turning in . This is a question to Podiatrist .
Thank you very much for your time.

Brief Answer:
Needs further evaluation

Detailed Answer:
Hi there

Thanks for the query

You could be developing weakness of the muscles or could be developing a cavus deformity.

I suggest you get AP and Lateral X-rays of the feet. Get a thorough neurological and muscular examination to rule out any weakness of the muscles by a Physiotherapist.

This condition needs a thorough workup to find the cause, before treatment is begun.

Ageing by itself does not cause this. There may be other associated pathology.

I hope I have answered your query.

I will be available to answer your follow up queries.

Regards,

Dr. Aashish Raghu
