Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your medical questions
You have been diagnosed with cellulitis of the face and been given antibiotics. The swelling has reduced around your eye but is now lower on the face. This change could be related to gravity. Gravity is pulling on the fluid in your face from the infection and collecting in your lip and jaw. I recommend you continue your antibiotic. If you develop fever or chills of the area of redness increases in size then I would return to your doctor for re-evaluation
In summary
1. gravity pulling on face
2. Continue antibiotics
3. If swelling increases in size or develop fever return to your doctor
I hope this answers your question. Please contact HCM again with your health care concerns and questions
should not spread to the other side
Detailed Answer:
If the infection is causing more pain and spreading to the other side of the face then the infection is getting worse. If you are not any better by tomorrow morning then I recommend you seek further medical attention
