Brief Answer:
Cellulitis

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns

I am sorry to hear that you slipped on your abstinence program from meth. But you did inject and missed your artery and now you have a large red lump. This is called cellulitis and despite you being on antibiotics the area is not getting better. The cellulitis may now have developed an abscess. You may need to go back you your medical provider and get different antibiotics and or have the area lanced to remove the infection. Putting topical creams will do nothing to help the infection.

In summary
1. Cellulitis of the arm
2. Continue antibiotics
3. If swelling persists then see your medical provider again
4. May need different antibiotics or the area lanced

I hope I answered your question. Please contact us again if you have any additional questions
