Hello

Thank You for contacting HCM. My name is Dr Muhammad Ali Rauf & i will look into your problem.

I have gone through your query and would try to help you in the best possible way. Appearance of pus means that there is superadded infection and requires antibiotic cover. If i were your treating doctor then i would have advised following things:

- apply Silver Sulphadiazine cream ( may come with the name of Quench) in small amounts over the burn thrice a day.
- apply mafenide ointment alternatively over the burn. Its antibacterial.
- wash hands thoroughly BEFORE and AFTER touching the wound.
- avoid dust over the wound.
- It would be better to cover the burn area with dressing.

Recovery from burns is a slow process & usually takes some time to heal. If you observe that condition is same aor aggravates then you need to visit hospital & get an appointment for a "Consultant Dermatologist" for further workup.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help if not then don't forget to close the discussion and rate it.
Wishing you good health !!
