Brief Answer:
Vitamin D def can cause chest & shoulder pain.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query on HealthcareMagic.
Chest pain can occur in large number of conditions.
Diseases of cardiovascular system, diseases of pulmonary system and diseases of musculoskeletal system are few diseases which can cause chest pain.
Associated pain in the shoulders can be seen in cardiovascular diseases.
However, since TMT is negative, vitamin D deficiency can be one of the causes of chest and shoulder pain.
Vitamin D deficiency is characterized by body pains due to low calcium levels in the blood.
Thus, serum levels of vitamin D levels need to be estimated.
If the vitamin D levels are low, vitamin D supplements along with calcium needs to be taken.
Relief from chest and shoulder pain will confirm that the pain is due to low levels of vitamin D or calcium.
