Suggest Treatment For Chest Congestion With Jaw Pain

Question: I was congested and needed Benadryl so I took 2 to help with this due to allergies but I also had a hurting jaw and Tylenol and codeine mix 120-12 and I took about 5ml. Do I need to make sure I stay awake. Or rather will I am not wake up if I do go to sleep. I'm worried.

Hi, thanks for your query. In my opinion, you might be having allergic bronchitis with jaw pain. Codeine for cough and Tylenol for pain is correct. U can take both medication together. Hi, thanks for your follow up query. Dry cough is treated with Codeine and wet cough with benadryl. If chest congestion is more with lot of phlegm then take benadryl. If it's dry irritating cough then take Codeine. Hope I have answered your question . Thanks.
