Question: Several times I have had chest pains and seams to be from a lot of gas as I belch it gets better I also this time i urinated 5 times in 20 minutes. The chest pains last an hour or so

Hello and thanks for the query. Frequently, chest pains can be referred from a gastrointestinal source.

I suspect that if you get relief from belching that this may be from a GI issue. I would recommend that you visit with your PCP to discuss this issue in detail and to obtain a focused physical examination.

As for the urination this may be a separate issue and also should be discussed with your primary physician. This may be a reflection of a urinary tract infection or abnormal blood sugar or possibly a prostate issue.
