Question : My name is XXXX. My number is 000_000-0000. I have been to the ER three times this week and called my primary five times. I am now scheduled to see my primary this coming Monday. I take meteorology 25 mg bid p.o.. For about two weeks now I have had chest pain and tightness and strong pressure. Also aching running down one side of my neck and same arm. An uncontrollable migraine. I have taken Percocet 10/325 qid. Nothing helps much. When I have any activity at all I feel extreme chest pressure and heart racing. I immediately take my :P and my pulse is normal but my :P is usually very high. My dr has raised my to prop to 50 mg and I can take an extra 25 if I need to. I'm dizzy, lightheadedness and nauseous. The ER has done nothing for me but to refer me to a cardiologist. Last night for the first time my :P went super low it was 62/35 so I went to the ER. It's back high when I got home from ER. I'm super uncomfortable and get a sob feeling. I have not slept in 44 hours hardly except for two hours that only happened after I drank wine to bring my bp down and that was at the hospitals suggestion. The wine is the only thing that seems to lower my pressure. I try not to drink it if I've recently had Percocet. My family wanted to know from another Dr if this is ok to drink the wine till Monday since its the only thing that lowers the pressure and pain and sob and migraine. Please confirm that it's ok to have the wine.

                                    Brief Answer:
It's ok for you to drink 1-2 glass of wine...
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX!
It's ok for you to drink 1-2 glass of wine to relief your symptoms (head ache, chest pain) and control your BP. However to much wine can lower BP and can increase head ache.
You mentioned that you have gone to the ER. Can you upload the ECG or other tests that you have done. So I will check them by my self.
I recommend consulting your cardiologist and to run the following examinations to rule out cardiac problems:
- ECG
- Cardiac ECHO
- Holter monitoring
- BP monitoring
- Stress test.
Hope this was of help!
