Question: I have venious stasis ulcers, and I just noticed that I have one on my good leg. Down at the ankle. I have been treating myself as I lost my car and can't get back to the wound clinic my question is how do I know if I am getting septic? The wound has some greenish drainage and does smell, also there is a lot of pain, I have had infections before but this is different. I have been getting the chills, fever at times and I just don't feel right. I have nausea and my whole body is aching.
