Question : My Grandmother is having dry cough everyday and she says its been there for more than 6 months. Is it a potential symptom of something big?

Chronic cough cannot be ignored especially in elderly age. It has to evaluated thoroughly by an Internal Medicine doctor. THere are quite risky possibilities including TB, bronchitis, tumor. There are simple possibilities as well like GERD, hernia, allergy.
