Brief Answer:
supportive care

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

I read your question and i understand your concern. Chronic cough with clear mucus has many causes and needs to be sorted out first. Local throat causes like sinuses infections, post nasal dripping, recent cold and flu, allergic airways, asthma etc are commonest causes. Also acid reflux, gastric discomfort are the commonest notorious secondary causes for such chronic cough with clear mucus. Respiratory tract infections need also to be evaluated.

Meanwhile, take salt water gargles, mucinex as continued, avoiding triggers like sour , cold foods, drinks, smoking, beverages, alcohol etc, and consult a doctor and let them sort out the possible cause from above mentioned ones and then manage it accordingly.

I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.

Khan
