Brief Answer:
Evaluation needed by specialist Pulmonologist

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Chronic cough needs complete details and evaluation.
What season you have the cough and when do you cough more while lying or standing or morning or evening?
Was spirometry done?
Is it dry cough and would it occur during climate change?
Were you given inhaler?
Did the doctor try on steroids?
What is your weight and did they rule out TB?

Chronic bronchitis, Asthma, Reflux oesophagitis and Pulmonary TB are principal reasons for such a long duration cough. You should see a Pulmonologist for this.

Brief Answer:
Allergic bronchitis

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

If it is proven to be allergic cough, the most effective means for controlling cough is the avoidance of environmental irritants, especially smoke, dust mites and pollen. This is probably the only thing most people ignore and they end up with cough that disturb their life.
In addition your allergist/pulmonologist can prescribe you long acting bronchodilators along with inhalation steroids, which you said were already on your prescription. You should take them regularly when you have acute attack. However any episode should not last more than a month, if they last more than a month then you should think of other reasons for aggravation of bronchitis like infection, acidity.

Let me know if you need elaboration.

Brief Answer:
Yes Seroflo is the choice

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

As mentioned LA bronchodilator and inhaled steroid, that comes in SEROFLO. This is the choice for most doctorss. You can take inhaled SEROFLO even during pregnancy. Attacks cannot be controlled with vaccinations but flu, pneumonia vaccines are must to prevent complications.

Thanks
