Suggest Treatment For Chronic Cough
Question: Hi,
My wife is suffering with chronic cough. The cough mostly starts starts in the evening and continue in the nights. The cough will be severe if she takes any sugar products like milk, fruits etc... She is taking levoctrizine daily once in the evening. The cough is under controlled with this medication but still unable to take any sugar products even when using levoctrizine. She is pregnant (4 months) can she take Furamist nasal spray (27.5 mcg). We read in few websites that pregnant women should avoid furamist nasal spray as it is dangerous to fetus. Please advise. Thank you

Thank you for your response. So can she stop taking Levocitrizine and continue only on Furamist nasal spray? Also can she take this spray or tablet throughout her pregnancy. As I said we are concerned about impact on the baby's development so can she take these medications throughout her pregnancy?
