Question : Can not letting flaky eczema or psoriasis on my penis heal properly leave red marks on my penis? I have had a form of flaky/blotchy psoriasis on parts of my body since i was a kid. In college i masturbated a lot and my penis became very flaky and red. I still masturbated anyway and never let it heal properly i dont think. I have had these red marks on my penis for at least the last 5 years. I have been sexually active in that time, though never recall any breakouts. These are painless red marks. What could these be?

                                    Brief Answer:
Looks like loss of pigment
Detailed Answer:
Hi
I understand your concern regarding your skin problem and I hope I am able to help you in the same.
I have seen the attached pictures .
I do not see any signs of any active eczema or psoriasis over the penile area at present .
You seem to have developed post inflammatory loss of pigment or you might be developing vitiligo .
Do you have any itching or pain in the area ?
What all are you applying over it .
In my viewpoint, you need to personally see a dermatologist for proper assessment .

                                    Brief Answer:
Loss of pigment, need to find the cause
Detailed Answer:
Hi again
Thanks for the details
Owing to the kind of lesions you have ,you may have developed either a loss of pigment secondary to the psoriasis or eczema lesions or it could even be the beginning of vitiligo .
You can start application of a topical steroid cream like cortisone over the affected areas twice daily .
Use it regularly for atleast two weeks .
If you do not notice any improvement ,see a nearby dermatologist since a direct examination by a magnifying lens is essential to differentiate between the two possibilities.
Hope it helps
