To answer your questions, the pain and loud high pitched noise in my head covers my entire head (front, back, and sides). I have had this pain since the beginning of December of 2016. If I'm awake, it's there...it never goes away. The noise is constant and my head feels like it's in a vice grip.

My level never drops below an 8 and often breaks the 1-10 scale and hits a 12. The headache is piercing. Too much noise aggravates it and I have been on migraines med for about two months now with no relief. I've had an MRI of the brain and cat scan of the same and came back negative. My pain is real and I don't know which way to turn next...I'm at a loss.

Brief Answer:
Possibility of chronic tension type headache

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through all your details.
The character of headache is more like chronic tension type.
You need to take amitryptiline with other medications like sertraline or duloxetine if depression is associated.
The response is usually delayed and yoga, meditation will also be helpful.
Consultation with a headache specialist will be beneficial.
