Suggest Treatment For Chronic Headache While Having Epilepsy

Question : I am an epilepsy patient, I have chronic Headaches. After "muscle spasm: the headache goes away for a few minutes then comes back much worse for several days before lightening back up some. Could what I be calling spasm be partial simple seizures? If so would it be advisable to go on a low carb high fat diet?
I am currently taking Dilantin as a control medication.
