Brief Answer:
I think seroquel can be a option for you

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXX,
Thanks for using Healthcaremagic as your health partner.

I read your query and understand your concerns.

Although I am not sure what medicine you have tried till date other than Zolpidem but I think seroquel could be a better option at lower dosages such as 12.5 or 25 mg at bedtime.

In my practice many of the treatment resistant insomnia patients got substantial relief with seroquel particularly at the advancement of age.

This belongs to antipsychotic class of medication but acts as excellent sedative and anxiolytic at lower dosage.

This is prescription only medication and you will need a prescription to buy it from pharmacy. I often start with 12.5 mg and increase to 25 mg if there is incomplete response.

I must inform you that there is no definite treatment for insomnia and only trial and error can offer a optimum mode of treatment for you.

I hope this helps you.
If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.
If not, you may close the discussion and if possible you may rate the answer for my future patients.
