Brief Answer:
This is not the best treatment.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

I have noted your symptoms and diagnosis. The medicines advised by your doctor are not the best for migraine.

The best medicine for relief of headache is rizatriptan or naproxen.

For prevention of headaches, the best medicines are propranolol, topiramate or divalproex tablets.

I hope my reply has helped you.

I would be pleased to answer, if you have any follow up queries or if you require any further information.

For relief of headache take Naproxen tablet. Usual dose I use is 250 mg as and when necessary.

For prevention of headaches, start topiramate tablets. The usual starting dose is 25-50 mg once daily after breakfast.
