Suggest Treatment For Clear Vaginal Discharge
Question: Hi i have just visited my obgyn because i have been having white-ish clear discharge only when having sex and i have done tests for ureaplasma which i have been suffering from for a while and yeast infection but both are negative so i am wondering what could be the reason for this discharge during sex.. I dont have a smell and the itch is really minimal from time to time it might not be from an infection maybe from my daily pads that i use.. So what could be the reason

As you are getting this discharge time and again despite of whole work up I would recommend following to you.
- get a vaginal swab test for the type of infection and antibiotic sensitivity. This will help find the cause.
- get your partner examined by a skin specialist as he might be the source of repeated infection
- always use a condom while having sex till you are relieved even if you are using any other method of contraception
- use vwash for perineal cleaning daily as it will normalize the vaginal pH and help in eradication of infection
- use tablet ecoflora or vibact DS inside vagina at night as it has good bacteria which will help in natural defense against infection.
-Get your fasting blood sugar levels tested.

Hello i just have a few questions about your answer.. For the first point what do u mean by infection and antibiotic sensitivity? I just wanna say that i have been clear from ureaplasma for about a month and a half and i just re tested and it was negative and i also tested for yeast and it was negative as well..
As for the second point.. Do you that he should get tested for the infection? Because he did and he was negative too
And last.. About the last point.. What does blood sugar level has to do with what im suffering from?

Hello dear, culture sensitivity is an essential test for patients with recurrent discharge problem and will be negative if you dont have any infection.
There are a number other organisms which can cause this discharge and mist importantly in case it comes out to be negative it is very reassuring that you are free from infection at least.
Negative culture in your case will be suggestive of the fact that you have increased secretion of vaginal glands that is why it is not foul smelling so we need to do anything except for local hygiene odf the private parts.
If your partner has already been tested then there is no need for getting him tested again.
Blood sugar levels if raised are a very importatnt cause of repeated vaginal infections and increased discharge.
