Suggest Treatment For Clogged Ears Along With Stiff Neck
Question: My husband, age 60, has a plugged ear. Today is the third day. We tried a wax removal kit two days ago, it did not help. The same day he experienced a stiff neck. The stiff neck is worse and the plugged ear is not any better.

As per your clinical history it appears that your husband most probably having hard earwax with stiff neck .
If I were your treating Doctor for this case , I would advice you
Start wax dissolving ear drop like clearwax 5 drops for five for 5 days & get the ear clean from your doctor .
Don't use ear bud or wax removal kit to clean wax , it will push wax much deeper .
For neck stiffness you can use tab Tylenol .

I should have clarified. The wax removal kit was wax dissloving drops followed by flushing the ear. It was not helpful. Is the stiff neck possibly related to ear problem or separate issue?
