Question : Hi,
My auntie has a blocked ear, she thinks it is just wax.
What would you suggest to clear it as she goes on holiday tomorrow and cant go to a doctor to syringe them.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

It is important to know what other symptoms are present.
1. Is it painful?
2. Is it both side or one side?
3. If there are associated symptoms like running nose, blocked nose, throat pain, ear discharge, ringing sensation, etc.

Assuming it's just ear wax, we can try soliwax solution instillation. 2-5 drops need to be administered and left alone for few hours. This will dissolve ear wax and aid is easier removal.
