Question : Hello Doctor,
my daughter is 3 years old and she is have regular cold and cough.
We have taken medicine from many days but there is no improvement.Doctors are telling that it is seasonal but this is from last 1 year.
please help.

Hello Sir, thanks for trusting health care magic.
If she has been having recurrent cold and cough with only partial relief then it needs proper evaluation
Get her chest x-ray done and then ENT check up for deviated nasal septum and sinusitis.
In general if above tests are normal then all she needs is prolonged intake of antihistaminics for a month at least and steam inhalation daily.
Get above investigations and then we can discuss further management.

we r giving her ambroidill and XXXXXXX plus daily since more thn a week now still the cough is not cured fedup of the allopatic medicines whic we think is totally nonsense which is a total waste,we changed the doctor twice coz of this reason finally hoping tht this wld help her to resist frm cough bt no use,its all the same absolutely useless.we hv done her x-ray,ent all done all results were absolutely normal thn wht would b the reason for her colder .A BIG QUESTION FOR US ACTUALLY .I think prolonged medicine if given cn also harm her body such a small baby is bearing all this its vvvv hard n untorellable for a mother to c my baby facing this kind of problem plz .suggest sm home remedies or n e medicine which cn cure her cough completely. sorry for the long mesg.bt its really sad for a mother to c her baby bearing all this.one more thing she's gonna b 3 next month but still she feeds is there n e harm in tht.pls suggest sm gd medicine.

Simple precautions advised

I totally understand mam but you will have to be patient and take all medicines as advised.
She is most likely allergic to the change of temperature and dust and pollen.
So take the precautions as I told you and try to keep her in a regular and constant temperature controlled environment especially avoiding cold beverages and even cold water.
If possible then steam inhalation will also give a lot of relief along with cetrizine tablet as advised.
Allergy testing is also an option but try simple things first.
Also in case you are not getting satisfactory response then visit a good homeopathic doctor and try that once.
Keep your calm dear as it is a simple problem and will be fine soon.
