Brief Answer:
Likely to be due to a viral infection
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
I have gone caerfully through your query and understand your concerns. Most often such symptoms are due to viral infections which irrespective of treatment last for 5-7 days. I would insist on giving nebulisation thrice or four times a day (not just once). Nebulisation with normal saline may be given. It will help in diluting the cough and would provide relief. Continue to give Montair LC once daily for next few days.
Be patient. it would be back to normal soon.
Regards
