Brief Answer:
Try nebulisations
Detailed Answer:
HI
Thanks for writing to us.
Usually cold and cough is viral in nature.
It is better to consult your doctor before giving any other medicines because at this age you cannot start any medication on your own.
The possibilities I consider include
A. Bronchiolitis which is a viral infection. This might respond to saline nebulisations.
B. Nasal block causing difficult breathing. You can try normal saline drops one drop each nose three times a day which I give to my patients of this age to clear nasal block
If he is active and playful no need to worry.
Wishing your baby good health.
Regards
Dr Arun

Hello Dr. XXXXXXX
Thanks for your reply.
He is pretty active and playful. I would like to wait for another day and hoping that the Phlegm does not stay within. Worst case, this sustains further, I would be visiting the doctor for further medications.
Doctor, do not know if I can ask this question to you. But still going further to ask you.
Any instant home remedies would help for my baby Doctor to reduce Phlegm?
Thanks&Regards,
XXXX
