Brief Answer:
acute sinusitis

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Thanks for posting your query,

I have read through your query and I can understand your concern,

You seem to have symptoms pertaining to acute sinusitis. In acute sinusitis, the mucous membranes lining the sinus tracts and nasal passages get inflammed thereby resulting in toothache, nasal block and headache over the side of the forehead where the sinus is blocked.

I would suggest you to do the following:
- steam inhalation for 10-20 mins at least twice daily.

- you can take over the counter medicine, paracetamol twice daily, which will help relieve the headache.

- you can take OTRIVIN-O which is also available over the counter to relieve nasal congestion.

- if this condition persists for more than a few days, you are required to start on antibiotics.

If I was your treating physician, I would suggest you to take a combination of amoxicillin and clavulinic acid, for 5- 7 days depending on the severity. As these are prescription drugs, you will need to see if your treating doctor agrees with me.

Hope I have answered to your query,

Please feel free to discuss further or else kindly close and give your feedback.

Warm regards

Brief Answer:
Online prescription is not allowed here

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
Thanks for the follow up,

Sorry for the delay in writing back to you,

This medical forum does not allow me to prescribe you with the right dosage and drugs. The combination of amoxicillin and clavulinic acid is an antibiotic and therefore, it needs to be prescribed for you by a doctor. Online prescription will not work.
It can be taken twice daily for 5 days.

Hope I have answered to your query,
