Question : I have cold since two days and sour throat with dryness in my throat.

Please take levocetrizine 10mg

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Your can take tablet levocetrizine 10mg at night for the cold. The most common cause for cold is viral infection and therefore antibiotics are not indicated.

Please gargle with warm salt water 3 to 4 times a day for the sore throat.

If you develop fever or body ache then you can take tablet paracetamol 500mg 2 to 3 times a day.

Steam inhalation 2 times a day will also help.

If you develop fever more than 102 degree faranheit or chest pain or chest congestion then you must meet your doctor immediately
