Question : Hi, this probably sounds ridiculous but during a play fight my boyfriend and I locked heads and pushed as hard hard as we could (in a sort of head fight) I felt fine afterwards (my forehead felt a bit tender) but the next day a woke up with a headache that hung around all day, it's now the second day after the 'head fight' and I still have a headache but otherwise feel okay. Is it possible this has caused dangerous damage? I will be abstaining from head fights from now on..
Thanks,
Sarah

Brief Answer:
Not dangerous, but watch for unusual symptoms....

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

I am sorry for the situation you are going through.

Although you had fun fighting head-to-head, that is a considered "trauma" by the body. This explains why you are having headaches.

It is advise to :
- apply cold compresses to the "fight" area of the head
- take OTC pain-killers

If after few days, you'll still have unbearable headache and/or other symptoms (e.g. vomiting, nausea, etc.); I'd advise to consult with your physician to rule out inner-brain edema.

Wish fast recovery!
