Question : Hello.

Just a quick question. I have had very slight dizziness (more like lightheaded) the past 10 days or so. The morning it doesn't really exist but seems to come the later in the day. Other than this I feel well and no other symptoms.

Brief Answer:
Several explanations possible.

Detailed Answer:
I read your question carefully and I understand your concern.

Many causes may be related to your symptoms. Anemia is a common condition associated with lightheadedness. Metabolic alterations such as electrolyte abnormalities or nutritional deficiencies are a possible cause as well, especially if your day involves physical work, dehydration, do not eat well etc, symptoms may be more marked in the evening. For the above causes some simple routine blood testing can confirm or exclude them.
Another cause can be cervical spine arthritis, which can be exacerbated by prolonged sitting, like in front of a computer screen during the day. A neck xray can evaluate that.
Blood pressure fluctuations can also cause dizziness/lightheadedness so measurements for a few days are recommended.
A last but common cause cause may also be anxiety, may be more marked later in the day as the stress from work or other activities accumulates.

I remain at your disposal for further questions.
