Question : my wife had UTI 10 days before, she took Cital and urispas. she became alright, we went out on Tuesday the 16th she ate Samosa and by night was having pain in the stomach , at night vomited, and was having pain under the rib cage ( looked like acidity attack). we consulted our doctor and she was prescribed Pantodac 2 tablets for 5 days and domestal 10 mg 2 tablets for 2 days. and a pain killer hyocimax. she was advised liquid diet for a day, and light food till she recovers. she has had these medicines for two days. her pain has gone but she has developed gastric trouble and when she eats any thing she starts burbbing. she is not feeling hungry and is constipated

                                    Brief answer...Need not worry
Detailed answer...
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
I have read your query and understood your concern.
There is nothing to worry as things would settle soon.
Outside street food has resulted in gastritis ( inflammation of inside lining of stomach ) and this inflammation takes 7-10 days to heal completely and sometimes may take 2 -3 weeks also.
Keep taking pantodac twice a day for 2 weeks 1/2 hour before meals.
Resume DOMSTAL and take it for another 4-5 days.
Avoid spicy foods and take soft diet with plenty of liquids.
You shall be all right in next few days.
I hope it helps, however you may revert to me for any further query.
Best of luck
Thanks
