Question: Sex: Female Age: 67 Had constipation for few days. On 8th June night, had two spoon of Dophalac to get rid of constipation. On 9th June - motion 3 times at day time. At night fever started and loose motion too started at 10 the morning on 10th June Fever, loose motions and lost appetite continued next day..Now don't have fever but have motion for at least for 4/5 times daily. No stomach pain. BP is very low. Had Norfolks TZ daily one for 5 days Loperamide tablets taken 2 times daily for 3 days. ORS was also taken. Need remedy for repeated motions which is almost 4-5 times a day. Currently no loose motions but have mild pain around navel.

Hello,

Very likely you are having severe enteritis.There is inflammation of intestines which causes pain.Earlier the episode of fever was suggestive of infection.
Rx
Start taking Rifaimin 550mg once daily
Tablet metronidazole 400mg thrice daily(8 hourly)
Take loperamide(Imodium) in high doses 4mg four times a day.(This dose of imodium would help to stop stools asap).
Tab Racicadotryl 100mg once daily three times a day.
Take them for 3 days.
Take a probiotic like econorm thrice daily with capsule aristrozyme twice daily(for appetite gain).

All these are available easily on any pharmacy.
Take light and easily digestible food.
Eat curd and yoghurt.
You would be fine in a day or two.

Test suggested are-
Stool test
Ultrasound abdomen,
