Question : I have very hard stool preventing me from having a bowl movement
Brief Answer:
Enemas should help.
Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Thank you for the query.
I suggest you to have few enemas done. If the stool is in your rectum, stool softener wont help much and the first part of the stool can be very painful.
Probiotic, increased mineral water intake and fiber intake are also very helpful. You may also take Lactulose for the next few days.
Hope this helps.
Regards.
