Question : Question for Dr Ratnesh Pandey - My daughter is having constipation for the past one week despite eating a variety of foods. Today she had good clearance but accompanied by a bit of bleeding. For the last week, she cries while passing stools. I have given her Nux Vom 30 a couple of times but not had great relief.

Nux vom will not work effectively.
I would suggest you to start following medicine. Please note that in infants following medicine works good
You can start with
Mag Carb 30 6 pills twice in day
Alumina 3x 4 tabs twice in day

Take the medicine for 15 days. She will be relieved with in 3-4 days but continue the medication for 15 days.
Do not stop medicine in between the course.
