Question : My mother is having problems with constipation, gas, bloating, and general discomfort. She is 9o. We can't seem to clear it.

A two week course of rifaximin along with polyethylene glycol should help with your mothers symptoms. I would also suggest to get a tsh blood test done to check for thyroid deficiency.
