Suggest Treatment For Constipation With Dizziness

Question : Doc, my Mother in Law whom Is Diabetic has been hospitalized for 5 days due to the fact that her BP had been outrageously high. (200/100 200/97 ).....It goes down to 160/76 then shoots,back sky high.Het CT scans are Good but she does seem to be constipated. The Docs have given her something for the constipation for the last two days but she still hasnt gone as of yet!....Also she's been complaining of dizziness. ...Just tryn to get go the bottom of her problem

I have read your query and understand your concern.
Constipation in hospitalised patient is quite common and is partly due to being  bed ridden for most of times in the hospital and partly due to less dietary as well as less water intake.
It can be quite easily managed by giving her enemas.
As far as dizziness is concerned it could be due to various factors including high blood pressure
There is nothing to worry as she would soon be all right once she starts getting regular bowel movements and her blood pressure and diabetes comes under proper control.
It is better to wait and watch and give some more time to the treating doctors.
