COnstipation, needs management
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking
I read your question and i understand your concern. Stringer stools at age of 85 are due to constipation. Age related functional decline of bowel movements make it worse. Exlax are chewable tablets for constipation. So use them they will relieve the symptoms.
Along with that modify diet and lifestyle, eat more fiber and take plenty of fluids at least 3 litres in a day. Dont ignore the urge to have bowel movements. Stay active, do exercises, walk for at least 30 minutes a day, it will help bowel movements . Use of an enema may be considered if constipation is not relieving. Wait and see and use medications and lifestyle modifications.
I hope it helps. take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.
Regards
Khan
