Suggest Treatment For Corn On Left Foot

Question: I had complaint of wart on my left leg and doctor suggested that this corn and not wart and gave few medicine. I think the problem has worsened. I am attaching the pic and old prescription .plz suggest next steps

Thanks for contacting Ayurveda with your health concern and following concerns are to be excluded for better management of disease:

1. Is your job demand long standing? or any repeated or excess stress on foot?
2. Any ill or tight fitting shoes?
3. Any history of diabetes or condition predisposing to poor circulation (addiction)?
4. You can use haldi ( turmeric) in any form which has action similar to steroids but without any side effects.
5. Soak a small piece of cloth in vinegar andtie on it and lleave for 1 day.
6. For massage apply KAASEESADI TAILA and consult an Ayurveda Shalya (surgeon) Physician for further asistance in the matter who may guide you for "Agni Karma"

1. In Ayurveda we also classify the disease under surgical issue (kshudra roga) and thus permanent management will be a step wise approach:

. Kshara karma (use of cow urine and yava kshara [pearl ash])

. Shastra karma (surgical removal) and lastly

. Agni karma (cauterisation)

2. Since treatment has to be individually formulated thus for specific treatment, consultation and examination by qualified Ayurveda Physician is must, treatment described earlier is for prevention and home based management.
