Question: i have a corn or callus on the bottom of my right foot and now it seems to be worsening the pain has now traveled up trough my foot and up the side to my ankle ibuprofen helps but for barely 24 hours then after it wares off the pain comes back making it tough to walk putting any weight on it the more i stay off my feet it stiffens up and pain increases

Corns that are painful and are causing you such distress during your routine work need to be surgically corrected. Nonsurgical treatments such as rest and wearing loose (wider) shoes or sandals can often relieve the irritating pain.

Oral painkillers and local cold-pack application are sometimes helpful as well. You can also apply Corn cap or topical sialic acid to remove it. In case the corn is infected then oral antibiotics may be needed. Do consult a surgeon and get it surgically removed for relief.
