Brief Answer:
No serious worry, not life threatening, See ER room, Influenza shots

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for the query,

I understand that this ca be very disturbing. It is however important to get the infection urgently treated and an evaluation of the bleeding.

Generally bleeding in COPD is not usually life threatening. It should make you worried but I think you should be less weary. It is appropriate in my opinion however for you to go to the emergency room.

I would like to know if you take you Influenza vaccine shots regularly. If you do, its ok. If not , I would advice you get advice from your family doctor with regards to this vaccination schedule, which shall render you less vulnerable to recurrent infections.

Thanks and kind regards as I wish you the best of health.
