Brief Answer:
Start him on antihistamine
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to the HCM
I understand your concerns but don't worry. Toddlers are prone to self limiting viral infections which improve with symptomatic management within a few days.
So, I would recommend you to start him on antihistamine such as Syp. Maxtra or T minic ( 2.5 ml thrice daily). Do not give extra doses as it leads to sedation. Continue with normal saline nasal drops ( nasoclear ) along with steam inhalation. You may give acetaminophen for fever episodes if they occur.
Hopefully it will be of help.
Take care
