Question : hello doctor. having cough due to cold. Please suggest medicine. it started just a day ago. mainly during night and mornings

I would suggest you to take dextromethorphan containing cough syrup which will help in suppressing the cough centers. If you are looking for the brand names, you can get Syrup. TUSQ-D.

If you have nasal blockage you can use saline nasal drops or OTRIVIN nasal drops.

Take steam inhalation twice daily

If at all, you seem to have purulent sputum, symptoms of sinusitis, it would be best for you to start on antibiotics. Kindly update me on details of your symptoms so that I can advise accordingly.
