Brief Answer:
It's stomach increased acidity by alcohol use

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

You are reporting to get bad cough in the morning after drinking moderate amounts of alcohol. This is because your stomach gets irritated (increased acidity) due to alcohol use.

At this point, I advise to :
- avoid drinking alcohol until improvement
- have your meals regularly
- take antacids
- avoid foods that would aggravate your symptoms like chilly, spicy, ccoffee, etc.

If the symptoms will persist, should schedule upper endoscopy for further evaluation.
Hope it was of help!
