                                    Brief Answer:
Accidental inhalation of polymer spray
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.
The inhaled agents (polymer spray ) cause a characteristic syndrome of fever, chills, malaise, and occasionally mild wheezing, leading to the diagnosis of polymer fume fever.
It is mostly self-limited, and symptoms resolves within 24 h. One may need broncho-dilator (oral+/_ inhaled), mucolytics and a short course of steroid, if irritation like dry cough, shortness of breath persists.
A course of broad-spectrum antibiotic is required only when there is evidence of super added bacterial infection.
I am sure you have consulted a doctor by now.

No I have not consulted a Dr. yet. That is why I chose to do this online. I thought that perhaps a day of rest would resolve the issue. Sounds as if that should be the case. I will watch it closely and see how I am tomorrow.
