Brief Answer:
It could be bacterial infection.

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thank you for asking HCM.

I have gone through your query. Your respiratory infection is most likely from bacterial infection. Bacteria like pseudomonas , pneumoconiosis can give greenish sputum. It is not as contagious as viral infection. But avoid close contact. Use masks.

Moreeffective antibiotic will be needed for you. I would suggest antibiotics like Co-amoxiclav (Amoxycillin and clavulonic acid ) along with supportives like bronchodilator levosalbutamol, mucolytic-ambroxol and antihistamine like cetrizine.

A consultation with your physician is well appreciated.

Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
