Question : My 4 month daughter has got cough and sneezing after viral recovery.Which medicine we should give? Sinarest AF or mucolyte?

both can be given.

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
For cold or sneezing sinarest -af can be given , dose depends on weight.
For cough mucolite or ascoril- ls drops can be given.
But ascoril-ls or asthakind -p is better option than mucolite as it contains bronchodilator also.
Also nasoclear nasal drops are saline water drops that will clear the nasal congestion should be installed in nose.
If there is fever of more than 3 days , kindly see a doctor for antibiotics.

Hi,

She has no fever. We already given nasal dro once one -one each side. She is having just cough and sneezing.
Her weight is 4.5 kg

As her weight is 4.5 kg, if i would be thetreting doctor, i would have given sinarest-af and asthakind-p drops both 8 drops 3 times a day.
Continue saline nasal drops 3 to 4 drops a day one drop in each nostrils.
