Question : I got a cold ,c ough and the congestion is bad. My doctor gave me doxycycline monohydrate, is this any good?OK YOU GOT MY MONEY AND IT SAID THE DOCTOR IS WAITING TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION, WHY IS IT TAKING SO LONG?

Along with Doxycycline, also follow these:
1. Drink plenty of fluids orally and keep yourself hydrated.
2. Do steam inhalation and warm water gargles 5-6 times a day.
3. Avoid oily and spicy food. Avoid junk food. Avoid hard to chew food for the time being.
