Brief Answer:
This needs testing now.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

This fever now needs testing. Though the diagnosis is very much a viral pharyngitis in which antibiotic is not very useful and it will most probably get better by itself. But it has been going on for 10 days.

I will suggest blood tests - complete blood count, peripheral smear for malarial parasite, dengue test; routine urinalysis, X-ray chest PA view. Meanwhile, we can give him probiotic sachet like Sporlac or Bifilac. Steam inhalation, lots of clean water.

Hope this helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.
