Hi,
Thanks for writing in to HCM. This is Dr.Riyanka answering your question.
Since your daughter has been having Amoxycillin and clavulanic acid combination since one and half days and she is having sick sensation in her stomach, kindly visit the doctor immediately as she may be allergic to the medication if this is the first time she has been given these medications. Is there any rash or vomiting?
She could be having gastritis due to strong medications for which you can consult her physician for Tablet Omeprazole 20mg (to be taken atleast half an hour before breakfast) daily for 7 days.
For the fever kindly keep giving tylenol every four hours but donot exceed the recommended dose.
If she is not allergic to this medication then no need to worry . Give her bland semi solid easily digestable food along with vegetable soups.
She can take steam inhalation and do warm salt water gargle to remove phlegm.
Make sure she takes small 6 meals a day instead of three big meals.
